Once you have obtained your certificate from your supplier you can install this by following the instructions below. This assumes you have already created the CSR, obtained the certificate from a provider and already have our "Certificate Installation and Dedicated IP Address" option extra.
- Log into your hosting control panel
- Select 'Domains'
- Click on the required domain
- Select 'SSL Certificates'
- Ensure 'Install' is selected and click 'Next'
- Paste your certificate into the box and click 'Next'
- Click 'Finish'
- Your certificate will now show under 'Installed Certificate'. However, this still needs to be assigned to your website
- Click on the certificate in the list
- Choose 'Assign' and then 'Next'
- Tick 'Confirm Assignment' , select the website and click 'Next'
- Click 'Finish'
Your certificate should now be assigned to your website. Please note that this process will allocate a new IP address to your website which may take a few hours to propagate.
