How do I install the SSL certificate?

Once you have obtained your certificate from your supplier you can install this by following the instructions below. This assumes you have already created the CSR, obtained the certificate from a provider and already have our "Certificate Installation and Dedicated IP Address" option extra.

  • Log into your hosting control panel
  • Select 'Domains'
  • Click on the required domain
  • Select 'SSL Certificates'
  • Ensure 'Install' is selected and click 'Next'
  • Paste your certificate into the box and click 'Next'
  • Click 'Finish'
  • Your certificate will now show under 'Installed Certificate'. However, this still needs to be assigned to your website
  • Click on the certificate in the list
  • Choose 'Assign' and then 'Next'
  • Tick 'Confirm Assignment' , select the website and click 'Next'
  • Click 'Finish'

Your certificate should now be assigned to your website. Please note that this process will allocate a new IP address to your website which may take a few hours to propagate.
